Dyslexia Action Group
(parent support and more)
– Tuesday TBA at 7 pm in Huntington Beach CAOur group is for parents who have children with dyslexia and also adults with dyslexia and anyone else who is interested in learning more about dyslexia.
Our group will focus on dyslexia awareness. We also want to educate people about early intervention, support services, assistive technology, reasonable accommodations, and what help is available. Not only help in elementary, high school, and college, but also how to find jobs and situations that accommodate your dyslexia. We want to help children and adults find their gifts and how they can use them to overcome obstacles that come their way.

You’re Invited!
We are a group of parents coming together once a month to offer support, share ideas & resources,
and empower each other as we experience the successes and challenges of raising a child with dyslexia, processing or learning differences.
This group is intended to be a safe place where we can freely share what we are going through with others who understand, or may have overcome a similar challenge and can offer insight or experience.
Judith Reising is our guest dyslexia specialist, who joins us to lend the support of her knowledge and expertise for those who may have questions.
This group is free- We only ask that you RSVP so we can assure chairs. (adult only event)
